Hey stranger, I'm madds, the one behind the camera

I’m a lover of many things—Doc Martens, miffy, film photography, local live music, feminist manifestos, and, most of all, capturing candid love (!!). I've had a camera attached to my hand dating back to 2009 with my first disposable camera and a complete stuffed animal fashion show. Now, a decade later, I’m so grateful to have built a brand that supports artists and celebrates every kind of love story.

While I wouldn't consider myself a hopeless romantic, I adore the art of capturing weddings and being a witness to the raw celebration of love and vulnerability. I love nothing more than hearing the stories and experiences from the little details of how you and your lover met to your niche family lore and traditions. My art is driven by human connection, intimate glances, and celebration.



Like most aspects, I'm loud about who I am and what I believe in. My art and my business are no different. I'm drawn to art that is weird and exists outside a traditional norm. At its core, my approach to photography is the same. My photography is for the couples who haven't seen people like them in traditional wedding spaces. Who want to get married in a haunted historical buildings instead of a traditional church and the queer couples who've noticed a lack of LGBTQ+ representation within the wedding industry. As a queer artist, I understand the importance of creating and supporting art that strives to challenge outdated norms and societal barriers. Love is love is all it's forms and I want to capture it in its truest and most vulnerable form.
